Kanye West, Drake & Justin Bieber Plan to Skip Grammys 2017

News just broke that Kanye West, Drake, and Justin Bieber are all planning to skip the 2017 Grammys this year.

It all started with Frank Ocean, who didn’t even submit his album for consideration this year (though there are reports that it was not even eligible). Frank reportedly believes that the Grammys do not represent “young, black artists,” TMZ reports. Drake and Justin apparently have similar thoughts, and plans to skip the Grammys because he doesn’t believe the show is “relevant or representative.”

A source says of Kanye, who has 8 nominations, “Let’s put it this way. He’s received 21 Grammys, but when he was head-to-head against a white singer, he never won.”

TMZ points out that there’s no anger about the lack of representation, but many just believe the show is out of touch.
