Vanessa Hudgens is sharing some sweet thoughts on the one-year anniversary of tragically losing her dad, Greg, to cancer.

The 28-year-old Powerless actress took to Instagram on Monday (January 30) to post a touching tribute.

“Today marks one year since my dad passed away,” she wrote along with the photo below. “He’s my angel looking down on me and I know how proud he is. I keep trucking on but still feel his presence in my heart. And there he will forever stay. ❤😇.”

Greg passed away the night before Vanessa was scheduled to perform as Rizzo in Grease: Live!. Despite the devastating news, Vanessa still performed and received rave reviews.
