Diego Luna Attached to 'Scarface' Reboot as Director Antoine Fuqua Departs Film
Diego Luna has just reportedly landed an exciting role in the Scarface remake!
The news broke at the same time news was revealed that director Antoine Fuqua had to leave to project, Variety reports. Antoine had to leave Scarface because a sequel to The Equalizer is in the works, and he has been heavily involved in creating and developing that project.
The film will be a re-imagining of the
Los Angeles and will focus on a Mexican immigrant of both the 1932 and 1983 films. This story will take place in Los Angeles. Diego will presumably play the Al Pacino role in the reboot.
