Ivanka Trump's Line Has Been Dropped by Nordstrom

Nordstrom has announced plans to stop carrying Ivanka Trump‘s fashion brand in its retail stores.

While the company will be cutting ties with Trump, the official statement does not cite political reasons for the decision.

“Each year we cut about 10% [of brands carried] and refresh our assortment with about the same amount,” a Nordstrom spokesperson told Business Insider. “In this case, based on the brand’s performance we’ve decided not to buy it for this season.”

While Ivanka‘s brand was listed on Nordstrom’s Brands List on Wednesday, it has been removed as of Thursday.
