Zendaya Opens Up About Her 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Audition Process
Zendaya stuns (as usual) in her latest photo shoot for Vanity Fair. (See the full pic in our gallery below!)
Here’s what the 20-year-old actress had to share with the mag:
On her first earliest performances: “I fell in love with theater at a young age. I was that weird eight-year-old who actually appreciated Shakespeare. I loved singing and dancing and putting on performances for my parents.”
On making her big-screen debut as Michelle, Peter Parker’s nerdy classmate, in the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Homecoming: “I auditioned, did my screen test, and waited like everyone else. It was important to me that my first movie be great – I didn’t care if I had one line.”
On her aspirations: “I have a billion dreams, and I want to use my platform to help people. I’ve been given this power and I have to start conversations that are bigger than myself.”
