Ryan Reynolds Gives Jake Gyllenhaal's 'Sunday in the Park' Major Praise
While it was announced earlier today that Jake Gyllenhaal‘s upcoming musical revival of Sunday in the Park with George will not compete at the 2017 Tony Awards, Ryan Reynolds is still giving his friend major props for the performance.
The 40-year-old Deadpool actor took to Instagram to share his praise.
“SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE is coming to Broadway next month,” Ryan wrote along with the photo below. “One of the best shows I’ve seen on stage. Jake Gyllenhaal and Annaleigh Ashford make the world feel pretty damn good again.”
In case you missed it, Jake also recently sent his support to Ryan after they were both snubbed by the Oscar nominations this year.
