Ryan Reynolds Gets Honored by Hasty Pudding Theatricals
Ryan Reynolds received the highest honor from Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the oldest social club in the United States!
The 40-year-old actor was awarded as Man of the Year from the Harvard society on Friday (February 3) on the university’s campus in Cambridge, Mass.
The annual award honors performers who have made lasting and impressive contributions to the world of entertainment and includes a roast during their acceptance.
During his speech, Ryan opened up about his proudest moment as a parent and it couldn’t have been more adorable.
“Just seeing my older daughter be so infatuated with our younger daughter, who’s 4 months old. Seeing her kiss her and hug her and hold her, it kinda crushed me. But would put anyone else to sleep,” Ryan explained.
During his day at Harvard, Ryan also received a tour of the campus, was serenaded by an a capella group and was given the coveted pudding pot which has also been awarded to actors like Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, and Harrison Ford.
