'Zoey 101' Alum Matthew Underwood Rescues Infant From Drug-Fueled Car Crash

Former Zoey 101 actor Matthew Underwood saved a baby last week after his/her parents crashed their car into a tree.

According to TMZ, Matthew rescued the four-month-old from the vehicle when he saw the parents passed out in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Matthew was one of the first people on the scene and saw the female driver had a syringe of heroin in her arm while the baby’s father was sleeping in the back seat next to an unsecured car seat.

He reportedly took the uninjured baby out of the car and had his brother call 911. He also took video before he intervened just in case.

The couple was booked for child neglect and drug possession, and the baby was given to a family member.
