Pepsi Responds to Backlash from Kendall Jenner Protesting Commercial

Pepsi is responding to the controversy surrounding their new protest-themed commercial.

In the new ad that was released earlier today, Kendall Jenner ditches her photo shoot to join a protest march where she grabs a can of soda then hands it to a police officer as the crowd erupts in cheers.

After the ad went viral, Kendall and Pepsi are being accused of appropriating the resistance movement for commercialized purposes.

After social media erupted with backlash, Pepsi released a statement in response to their commercial backfiring.
