Josh Duhamel Wants Son Axl to be as 'Excited' About the Outdoors as He Is!

Josh Duhamel is embracing his North Dakota roots and enjoying the outdoors!
The 44-year-old actor recently partnered up with the Boys and Girls Club of America and Clartin to launch their Be An Outsider Campaign and attended an event with the kids on Tuesday afternoon (April 4) in New York City.
During the bike riding event, Josh opened up about his love for the outdoors and shared that he tries to get outside as much as possible.
“Wherever I’m living, whether I’m home or on the road, I need to be someplace that has easy access to the outdoors,” Josh told People mag.
Josh also shared that his outdoorsy side is a trait that his three-year-old son Axl is starting to embrace as well.
“We have this great spot behind our house with all these trails, so he’ll go exploring and gathering things – whether it’s flowers or rocks,” Josh shared about his son he shares with wife Fergie. “He really has a fascination with sticks. He’s just like me – he loves to be out there, he loves to get outside.”
Josh said that he tries to get Axl back to his home state of North Dakota so that he can show his son how he grew up with nature outside of Hollywood.
“For me, it’s important to get my son interested in that kind of stuff and excited about the adventures of the great outdoors as much as possible,” Josh said.
