Harry Styles Reveals Why He Wrote His Album in Jamaica

Harry Styles is spilling on his creative process that led up to his upcoming debut solo album.

The 23-year-old singer dropped his new single “Sign of the Times” last night, and fans (some of them famous ones) are obviously eager for more.

Harry recently revealed that he both wrote and recorded his “really honest” new album in Jamaica.

“I just wanted to get out of somewhere where I had all my friends and where I’d want to go for dinner at a certain time,” he told Carson Daly on 97.1 AMP Radio. “I just didn’t want to get distracted. I kind of just wanted to very much immerse myself in doing it.”

Harry will be performing “Sign of the Times” for the first time live on Saturday Night Live on April 15, along with a second, brand-new song!
