Sean Penn Calls Former Producer Steve Bannon 'Hollywood Wannabe'

Sean Penn is sharing his thoughts about working with former film producer Steve Bannon more than 25 years ago.

The 56-year-old actor and the 63-year-old current White House Chief Strategist once worked together on Sean‘s directorial debut The Indian Runner back in a 1991 – Steve was an executive producer.

“Bannon was then, as he is now, simply another bitter Hollywood wannabe who went rogue by way of toxic narcissistic iconoclasm,” Sean told Death and Taxes magazine. “But, deep in his heart, he’s just a conniving hateful bloated punk who despises mankind. And then there are also the bad things about him.”
