Mark Hamill Surprises Sick Kids At Starlight Virtual Reality Launch In Orlando!
The 65-year-old actor surprised pediatric hospital patients at the launch of Starlight Virtual Reality at the Florida Hospital for Children on Wednesday (April 12) in Orlando, Fla.
Mark visited patients in their rooms as well as interacted with children as they played games, crafts, went through “Jedi training” and other Star Wars-themed festivities.
Starlight Children’s Foundation announced the launch of Starlight VR as well as their collaboration with the program’s Founding Sponsor, Star Wars: Force for Change, an initiative from Lucasfilm that harnesses the power of Star Wars to empower and improve the lives of children around the world.
“Thanks Florida Hospital for letting me visit the kids in your care & Starlight for providing #StarWars backpacks filled with goodies! #ForceForChange,” Mark captioned with his Instagram post that same day.
