'Transparent' Season Four Storylines Will Be 'More Political'
Check out some scoop on the upcoming fourth season of Amazon’s Transparent.
According to the writers, the show will address LGBTQ discrimination and the 2016 presidential election.
“I can’t really say more than that, but things will get more political than they’ve ever been,” creator Jill Soloway said (via Variety) during the show’s Emmy For Your Consideration event on Saturday (April 22) in Los Angeles.
Star Jeffrey Tambor said, “I think one of the things I like most about what we do is that people trust us. We’re not messing around – this is a real family, and these are the lessons we’re telling.”
Also in attendance were cast members Amy Landecker, Gaby Hoffmann, Judith Light, and Kathryn Hahn, and musician Alanis Morissette.
