Caitlyn Jenner Responds to Ellen DeGeneres' Criticism

Caitlyn Jenner has spoken out about criticism she’s received from Ellen DeGeneres.

The 67-year-old reality star was asked to clear up comments she made on Ellen‘s show about marriage equality.

“I probably didn’t do it as well as I could have done if I really thought about it more,” Caitlyn said. “But then, Ellen comes back and says, ‘So it sounds like you’re really not for it.”

“She went on Howard Stern and kind up upped the ante,” Caitlyn added. “I said that’s not right, I’m totally for it. I love it. I see so many happy people. It’s great.”

Ellen also said that perhaps Cait wouldn’t dance with her on the show because she’s a lesbian.

“I have no idea,” Caitlyn told Andy Cohen. “Why should somebody in my community even say something like that? I don’t think it helps the community. I don’t think it helps me. I don’t think it helps her. I would have danced with her in a heartbeat. She never asked me to dance.”
