Anna Wintour Kicks Off Met Gala 2017 Carpet in Chanel!

Anna Wintour looks absolutely stunning while making her entrance as the first star on the carpet at the 2017 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 1) in New York City.

The Vogue editor-in-chief has spearheaded the event for many years now and she is one of the co-chairs of this year’s gala.

Earlier in the day, Anna opened the costume exhibit to the press to show off the amazing designs being featured.

This year’s Costume Institute Gala Benefit – celebrating the opening of the Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between exhibition – is co-chaired by Anna, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, and designer Rei Kawakubo.
