The 52-year-old actress opted out of attending the fashion event for the first time since 2010.

A source told People magazine that Sarah Jessica chose to “skip” the Met Ball to “work on her HBO series Divorce.”

Sarah Jessica has become a staple figure of the fashion party, usually going to the full extreme when it comes to sticking to the theme of the event.

Back in 2015, Sarah Jessica rocked an insanely over the top headpiece as she arrived at the gala with date Andy Cohen.
