Ellen DeGeneres Says She Will Not Have Donald Trump on Her Show

“I’m not going to change his mind,” Ellen said. “He’s against everything that I stand for. We need to look at someone else who looks different than us and believes in something that we don’t believe in and still accept them, and still let them have their rights.”

In the past, Ellen has had political figures former like President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on her show.

As if he needs to be on your show. Besides you’re an idiot to take that stance. He’s the leader of the most powerful nation in the world and he meets with foreign leaders world wide and yet you are catering to the snowflake viewers with the brain capacity of a 12 year old.

Ellen promotes kindness in everything she does and is an example of what would make this world a better place. Trump is self-centered cruel individual. Why should she have someone like that on her show.

  • LolaLola

liberals are not for free speech. on college campuses they ban all conservatives from speaking or riot to get their speeches cancelled. it’s un-American and CIVIL discourse is a good thing. Both sides can have a conversation without resorting to namecalling and vitriol.

  • LolaLola

If Trump was self-centered, he’d never have run for president. As for cruel, do tell how he’s cruel. Does he kill bunnies or jail people who don’t agree with him? You don’t like him, I get that. But let’s not make the man out to be some kind of monster because he has done NOTHING and will do NOTHING that will cause major suffering and death.

Personally,I don’t think Trump is more evil than other people that have been in office.. What shocks me is his clear lack of leadership or personal ideas. All he does is passing laws that his sexually repressed team thought of and not cause he actually agrees with them, but only cause he knows that’s what his sexually repressed voters want. That said,it’s Ellen’s show, she can invite whoemever she wants.

To think one has the ability to run the free world takes a big ego

  • Beth klimiuk

He is addicted to power and adulation. Why else do you think he wastes tax payers money by doing his self-promoting rallies. I consider making fun of a disabled reporter cruel, don’t you? Bragging about grabbing women by the genitals is not only disgusting, it’s criminal. How about not paying contractors that have done work for you? Or how about all the name calling to his opponents and their wives during the campaign. He has no moral code or integrity and is not a role model. You are free to your opinion but if any family member of mine acted in such a way as he has I would be so ashamed. He can’t control his mouth so how can he run the country.I do not share his values because he has none.

I’m a big Ellen fan. I think she is so funny and very generous but I find her comments a little hypocritical. “We need to look at someone else who looks different than us and believes in something that we don’t believe in and still accept them, and still let them have their rights.” Aren’t you sort of doing the very thing that you claim to be taking a stand against? I mean you don’t have to invite him (your choice of course, perk of being the host) but don’t claim to stand for acceptance and people keeping in their rights when this statement is clearly contradictory to this.

It’s very easy to say you need to accept people who have different opinions and beliefs than you but it’s something entirely different to actually put that statement into practice. The truly brave thing to do would have him come to the show and be an example to the rest of the world that two adults who have opposing views on many issues can sit down have an intelligent debate and be heard. Being willing to listen to your opposition doesn’t make you a traitor to “your side” it just makes you a better human being.

  • LolaLola

Excuse me but the liberals and leftists have been calling Trump vile disgusting names for over a year. I suggest everyone let go of the “grabbing” comment since it was made once privately and I don’t hear women coming out of the woodwork claiming he actually did that to them, do you?

  • Beth klimiuk

Yes, as a matter of fact numerous women have come forward.
As far as letting go of his grabbing comment you can bet that was not the only time he admitted to how he treats women but that was the only time he was stupid enough to be recorded saying it.
Poor Donald, he’s such a victim.

  • LolaLola

I didn’t say trump was a victim and I also don’t see any of these women following through with their lawsuits. Gloria Alred is awful quiet.

  • Beth klimiuk

We should probably just agree to disagree. It’s true I will never think he is a decent human being and it’s because of his history. But I do hope he makes the best decisions for our country and I think we can all agree on that.

  • LolaLola

Personally, I can’t see him lasting four years. I just don’t like the constant hate and vitriol. It’s not productive and it’s no longer funny. Comedians are too angry to be funny.

  • Beth klimiuk

Hey we can certainly agree on that. I’ve never seen so much fighting over an election in my entire life.
It’s a very scary time. Our enemies are loving it.

  • LolaLola

we live in scary times. it’s all a gigantic cluster***k.

  • Beth klimiuk

It sure is. I’d like to move to Canada but not because of politics. It’s really because Justin Trudeau is easier on the eyes than Trump. Just a joke! Except Justin is a babe.
