Michael Fassbender Talks Negative Criticism: 'You Have To Be Robust In This Profession'

Michael Fassbender knows that with a high-profile status comes negative criticism, but he at least knows how to deal with – most of the time!

“I try to process it, doesn’t mean I succeed,” the 40-year-old actor recently expressed (via HuffPostUK). “I read reviews and they sting if they’re bad, but I’ve always been luckily able to judge for myself, all the way back from student days. You have to be robust in this profession.”

Michael also opened up about the best piece of advice he received: “It came from my parents. They told me, ‘Whatever you decide to do, and the choice is yours, give it 100%.’ And they also said, ‘If you have a good idea, have belief in yourself.’”
