Zac Efron to Play Serial Killer Ted Bundy in New Movie

Zac Efron is taking on a huge role – he will be playing one of the world’s most recognizable serial killers, Ted Bundy.

The 29-year-old actor will play the role in the upcoming film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, which will be helmed by filmmaker Joe Berlinger, THR reports. The script reportedly takes place from the perspective of Elizabeth Kloepfer, Ted Bundy‘s longtime girlfriend who ended up turning him into the police. No additional casting has been revealed.

This film will surely be a departure from Zac‘s latest film, Baywatch, which will hit theaters on May 25.
