Johnny Depp Joins Cast of Dark Comedy 'King of the Jungle'

Johnny Depp has just signed on to star in dark comedy King of the Jungle, according to THR.

The 53-year-old actor is set to portray John McAfee, the creator of the McAfee antivirus software, in the film based on his life.

The film follows John, who cashed in on the fortune he made from the software and left civilization to move to the jungle in Belize.

There, he set up a “compound of guns, sex and madness,” which is discovered by a a Wired magazine investigator who gets pulled into John‘s “escalating paranoia, slippery reality and murder.”
