Celebrities Remember Chris Cornell After Tragic Death at 52
The world was shocked this morning to discover that Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell had passed away at the age of 52 in a possible suicide.
Soundgarden was well known for the album Superunknown (1994) – and two of the songs, “Black Hole Sun” and “Spoonman,” won Grammys. Chris went on to form the band Audioslave years later, whose most successful single was 2003′s “Like a Stone.” Chris also released five solo albums over the years, and sang the theme to the James Bond movie Casino Royale.
