Is Katy Perry's 'Swish Swish' About Taylor Swift? Read Lyrics!

Katy Perry just dropped her new song “Swish Swish” and people believe that it may be a diss track aimed at her nemesis Taylor Swift.

The superstars’ feud dates back to when Taylor‘s dancers left her tour to dance with Katy. She then wrote the song “Bad Blood” about her and the rest is history.

In September 2014, Katy tweeted “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing,” which everyone considered a response to the song.

In the first verse of “Swish Swish,” Katy sings the lyrics, “From a selfish or a sheep, don’t you come for me.” When asked just a couple weeks ago if her new album includes a response to “Bad Blood,” Katy said, “One thing to note is: You can’t mistake kindness for weakness and don’t come for me.”

“You’re calculated. I got your number, ‘Cause you’re a joker. And I’m a courtside killer queen. And you will kiss the ring,” Katy also sings in the first verse.

Some fans even think that “swish, swish” could stand for “Swift, Swift.”

Katy is joined on the song by Nicki Minaj, someone else who Taylor was in a feud with. When Tay‘s video for “Bad Blood” got nominated for Video of the Year, but Nicki was snubbed, the rapper tweeted, “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.” Make sure to read how Taylor responded to that!
