Dwayne Johnson Announces He's Running For President With Tom Hanks in 'SNL' Monologue – Watch Now! (Video)
It looks like we might see Dwayne Johnson and Tom Hanks on our 2020 presidential ballot!
The 45-year-old Baywatch actor joined the Five-Timers Club when he took on hosting duties for tonight’s Saturday Night Live season finale.
During his monologue, Dwayne announced his plans to run for president of the United States.
He was joined by Tom, who agreed to be his running mate (after Dwayne turned down Alec Baldwin‘s request).
Making a reference to President Donald Trump, Dwayne stated, “Now, in the past, I would have never considered running for president. I didn’t think I was qualified at all, but now I’m actually worried that I’m too qualified.”
“Dwayne, I could not possibly turn this down,” Tom added. “The truth is, America really needs us. I have been in two movies where a plane crashes, and people are still happy to see me on their flight.”
“No one can seem to agree on anything anymore, except for two things…” Tom shared, before Dwayne finished, “Pizza and us.”
