Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds Holds Moment of Silence for Chris Cornell at BBMAs 2017 (Video)
Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell passed away last week and Imagine Dragons singer Dan Reynolds led a touching moment of silence to the late rocker at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards held at the T-Mobile Arena on Sunday (May 21) in Las Vegas.
“Although tonight is a time to celebrate the music and artists of the past year, it is also a time to recall a member of our community we lost this past week,” Dan said on stage.
“Soundgarden and Audioslaves’ Chris Cornell was a true innovator, a musical architect and a pioneer on the Seattle grunge movement,” he added.
Chris‘ death was ruled a suicide.
