Keanu Reeves' 'John Wick: Chapter 2' Director Tried Out As 'Matrix' Stunt Double (Exclusive Video)

Keanu Reeves‘ movie John Wick: Chapter 2 was a huge hit at the box office this year, but there’s something about the relationship between Keanu and director Chad Stahelski that you might not know!

Chad once tried out to be Keanu‘s stunt double many years before they worked together on the sequel.

In an exclusive featurette from the John Wick: Chapter 2 Blu-ray and DVD, which is out on June 13, the guys open up about their cool history.

“I showed up in jeans and a t-shirt and I sort of walk into this warehouse in Burbank,” Chad explains of his audition for the job, where he watched Keanu do stunt rehearsals after arriving. “I met Keanu really briefly. Then I met the Wachowskis. And then I got put through a good 45 minute to an hour audition for the first Matrix.”
