Katy Perry Plays London Concert, Honors Manchester Victims
Katy Perry hits the stage for a special intimate concert at the Water Rats pub on Thursday night (May 25) in London, England.
The venue just so happens to be the same place she made her UK debut ten years ago and Katy made sure to pay tribute to the victims of the Manchester attacks during her set.
“It was hard for you guys, I know that, it was hard for me, because we all love music,” Katy told the crowd (via Billboard). “We’re all listening to the same music. And you think about it and you think, ‘That’s my friend, that’s my sister, that’s my brother, that’s my cousin, that’s the person that loves music.’ It’s awful, it’s awful. It’s awful.”
“And whatever you can do to help, you should. If you can’t do anything, that’s fine. But what you should do is not let them win…. They can never take that part away from us ever, ever,” she added.
