Celebs Praise Jessica Chastain's Critique of Cannes Movies' Representation of Women
Jessica Chastain is being praised by a lot of celebs for her critique of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival movies’ representation of women.
The Oscar-nominated actress was one of the jurors at the festival this month and she watched 20 films in 10 days, but was “disturbed” by the female characters on screen.

“It was quite disturbing to me, to be honest. There are some exceptions. For the most part, I was surprised with the representation of female characters on screen in these films,” Jessica said during a post-closing ceremony press conference.
