Gal Gadot, Priyanka Chopra & Chris Pratt Among 700 Additions to The Academy

The Academy just invited a record 744 new members to join the organization and they include a ton of A-list actors!

The institution shared the news on Wednesday (June 28), inviting more new members than ever before.

Invitations were extended to actors including Priyanka Chopra, Gal Gadot, Chris Pratt, Donald Glover, Naomie Harris, Mahershala Ali and Viola Davis.

Others high-profile actors on the list included Chris Hemsworth, Riz Ahmed, Adam Driver, Dwayne Johnson, Leslie Jones, Betty White, Amy Poehler, Anna Faris, Margot Robbie, Channing Tatum, Kristen Stewart, and Shailene Woodley.

After vowing to make its membership better reflect the world demographics, the new class includes representation from 57 countries with 39% being female and 30% being people of color.
