John Legend & Tracee Ellis Ross Hit the Stage on Night One of Essence Music Festival

Tracee Ellis Ross hits the stage to hype up the crowds on night one of the 2017 Essence Music Festival Presented by Coca-Cola on Friday night (June 30) at the Mercedes-Benz SuperDome in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The 44-year-old black-ish actress appeared on stage to present her sister Rhonda and mom Diana Ross before they closed out night one of the festival.

Earlier in the night, John Legend rocked out on stage during the show.

The Essence Festival will take place in New Orleans all weekend and will include performances by Chance the Rapper, Mary J. Blige, and more.
