'Wonder Woman' Is Officially DC Comics' Biggest Movie Yet!

Wonder Woman officially has earned the title of the highest-grossing movie in the DC Comics Extended Universe!

Gal Gadot‘s superhero movie reached the milestone on Thursday (June 29), when its box office total hit $330.533 million. This surpasses the $330.36 million made by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in its domestic theatrical run.

After this weekend, Wonder Woman will likely be at around $345 million total.

Suicide Squad earned $325.1 million in its domestic run and Man of Steel grossed $291 million.

Wonder Woman still has a ways to go to reach Batman v Superman‘s worldwide gross of $873 million, but it’s very possible that it reaches the mark!

Deservedly so. Phenomenal movie and equally phenomenal score; the best I have seen this year.

Highly deserved. It was a great movie with a fantastic central performance by Gal Gadot. Congrats and please let us have a sequel, soon!

what this leaves out is that WW did that in a THIRD of the time that the other movies had. in 4 weeks it out earned their 12 week amounts AND it had a lower opening weekend, meaning word of mouth and good reviews and repeat viewings were so strong and positive (for good reason) that it overtook with ease. damn impressive

    Take note Hollywood.

It’s not about having a male or female lead. Not everything is about gender.

    It’s about the writing.

Stop hiring lazy writers and expecting an A-list celebrity to pick up the slack. It never works.

The Dark Knight was a part of DCEU right? I thought that was the highest grossing. But WW was fantastic nonetheless

Gadot is a horrible actress, how on earth did she get cast in this?

Don’t worry, when/if anyone is looking to cast a sad, hateful internet troll, you might be in luck.

P.S. Upvoting your own comment is pretty sad sweetie. Have a good day (:

the movies in the Nolan trilogy are not part of the DCEU, it started with man of steel.

So happy for the success of this movie. I hope Gal is going to get her bonuses now!!
