'This Is Us' Promotes All But One Child Actor to Series Regular

Nearly all of the child actors on This Is Us have been promoted to series regular status for the upcoming second season… except one.

Lonnie Chavis, who plays the role of young Randall, will not be a series regular, but don’t worry… there’s a reasonable explanation!

The young actor will continue to appear on the show, but his contract does not make him a series regular as he is currently a series regular on Showtime’s White Famous, according to Deadline.

Hannah Zeile (teenage Kate), Niles Fitch (teenage Randall), Logan Shroyer (teenage Kevin), Mackenzie Hancsicsak (young Kate), Parker Bates (young Kevin), Faithe Herman (Annie Pearson) and Eris Baker (Tess Pearson) all have been given series regular status.

This Is Us season two will premiere on September 26.
