Ed Sheeran Quits Twitter, Says He's Done with Internet Trolls

Ed Sheeran is saying goodbye to Twitter.

The 26-year-old entertainer shared in an interview with The Sun that he is leaving Twitter because he’s done dealing with Internet trolls.

“I’ve actually come off Twitter completely. I can’t read it,” Ed said. “I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things.”

Ed went on to say that the mean comments that people write really get him down and no longer wants to deal with that.

“One comment ruins your day,” he shared. “The head f�” for me has been trying to work out why people dislike me so much.”

Ed also shared that a recent interview he gave where he talked about Lady Gaga was taken the wrong way and her fans attacked him.

“Lady Gaga‘s fan base read an interview in which they assumed I was talking about her and they all f�”ing hate,” Ed said. “And it wasn’t anything to do with that at all.”
