Big Sean Spreads Positive Message at 'GMA' Concert: 'Make Sure You Spread That Light'
Big Sean is all smiles while hitting the stage at Rumsey Playfield during his Good Morning America concert on Friday morning (July 7) in New York City.
The 29-year-old rapper performed a special medley of tracks off his latest album, I Decided, and also took some time to spread some positive words about the naysayers of the world.
During a solo performance of “Light,” Sean stopped to speak to the crowd: “They could take shots at us. They can tear us down but what you gotta understand [is] our bodies are just a shell. But what they can’t take away is our impact, our ideas, what we leave behind.”
“It don’t matter what skin color you are,” Sean added. “Make sure you spread that light. I realize that karma is a real thing and if you put that light, that energy out there, you gon’ get nothing but success. I truly mean that.”
