'America's Got Talent' Airs Brandon Rogers' Audition Weeks After His Death (Video)

Brandon Rogers tragically died in a car accident in June and his amazing audition for America’s Got Talent aired weeks after his untimely death.

“On June 11th one of our contestants, Brandon Rogers, tragically passed away in a car accident. At the request of his family we would like to honor his memory by sharing his audition with you,” the producers of AGT put on the screen before the audition aired.

Brandon, who was a doctor in family medicine, sang Stevie Wonder‘s “Ribbon in the Sky” for his audition and got a standing ovation from the judges.

Simon Cowell even told Brandon that he is one of the best singers they have in the competition.

We send our thoughts and condolences to Brandon‘s loved ones as they continue to mourn his loss.

What a tragic loss, his voice was absolutely one of the most moving sounds I’ve had the pleasure of hearing in many years. If I closed my eyes, would swear he was a young Stevie Wonder.

I felt the same way, a huge loss not only for his voice, but for his community, I’m sure he was a wonderful doctor, he just had “presence” about him.

Really upset after watching America’s Got Talent. I knew that guy was going to be amazing even before he spoke! Then he talked passionately about his choice and reasons for becoming a doctor. He was such a humble person and had ‘something’ incredible about him…just gutted to see the tribute at the end..just shaken and really upset to learn this terrible news. Why does it happen to the most amazing people? I think he was someone special. Can’t believe he was only 29 yrs. A multi-talented individual.
