“On June 11th one of our contestants, Brandon Rogers, tragically passed away in a car accident. At the request of his family we would like to honor his memory by sharing his audition with you,” the producers of AGT put on the screen before the audition aired.

Brandon, who was a doctor in family medicine, sang Stevie Wonder‘s “Ribbon in the Sky” for his audition and got a standing ovation from the judges.

Simon Cowell even told Brandon that he is one of the best singers they have in the competition.
