Fate of the Furious
Dom Toretto and the rest of his crew is back for the 8th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise in the blu-ray and digital HD release of The Fate of the Furious.

This time, a ruthless hacker named Cipher, played by Charlize Theron, manipulates Dom to betray his racing family, putting the team to a test they’ve never faced before….fighting their own leader.

Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Michelle Rodriquez are all back for this one as they hit up the streets of Cuba, New York City, and even the arctic.

The film has all the crazy action, car flips, impossible stunts we all come to expect and love from the franchise. The added story plot where the team seems to be falling apart also serves as a great vehicle of tension to drive the story forward and give it a fresh take.

The Blu-Ray release is presented in high-def 1080 p with a DTS-X: Immersive Audio. The film transfer is pretty decent especially in the scenes in Cuba where the vibrant colors of the country really shine.

Extras include featurettes on the locations of filming, a cool clip on what modifications go into the the exotic cars of the film, along with extended scenes for a few of the most memorable fight scenes in the movie.

Highly recommend this film for any of the Fast of the Furious fans out there. The regular team continues to grow, despite the recent loss of Paul Walker‘s character. We’re curious where this franchise will go next.
