Venus Williams Sends Serena a Message After Wimbledon Loss

Venus Williams holds up her runner-up trophy alongside winner Garbine Muguruza of Spain following the women’s final at the 2017 Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships on Saturday (July 15) in London, England.

The 37-year-old tennis player lost the match in two sets, 7-5, 6-0. If she had won, she would have become the oldest women’s singles champion in modern times.

Venus‘ younger sister Serena Williams did not play this year as she is currently pregnant with her first child. She sent a message to her after the loss.

“I miss you. I tried my best to do the same things you do, but I think there will be other opportunities. I do,” she said. Watch the video below!
