Jay-Z's '4:44' Album Lands No. 1 Spot on Billboard 200 Chart

A congrats is in order for Jay-Z.

The 47-year-old rapper just scored the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest record 4:44.

It sold 262,000 equivalent album units, 174,000 of which were in traditional album sales. This extends his record as the solo artist with the most No. 1 albums in the 61-year history of the chart!

In case you didn’t know, the Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
