Issa Rae is making her promo rounds in celebration of season two of her hit HBO show, Insecure!

The 32-year-old actress-writer-director stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to talk about her YouTube start and the inspiration behind the show, all while making it clear that she isn’t equipped with an all-knowing omnipotence to answer any question that begins with ‘Do black people…?’

“Please do not do that. Don’t start sentences with ‘Do black people…?’, don’t do that,” Issa expressed. “I don’t know what other black people do, I don’t.”
