Ben Affleck's Batman Might Be Ushered Out of DC Franchise

Ben Affleck might not be your Batman for that much longer, if the new report from THR is true.

The Hollywood trade is reporting that we likely will not see Ben star in the upcoming standalone superhero movie The Batman.

Ben was set to star in the film, as well as write and direct it. After dropping out as the director, Matt Reeves was hired and he decided to also drop Ben‘s script.

While Ben will star as the caped crusader in the upcoming Justice League movie, “the studio is working on plans to usher out Affleck‘s Batman – gracefully, addressing the change in some shape or form in one of the upcoming DC films,” THR reports.
