Adele Hosts Private 'Despicable Me 3' Screening For Grenfell Tower Fire Victims' Children

As if we needed any more reason to absolutely love Adele…

The Grammy award-winning singer held a special, private screening of Despicable Me 3 on Thursday (August 3) for the children affected by the Grenfell Tower fire that killed around 80 people earlier this summer.

“Adele was lovely and she sat with a few of the kids in the row in front of us, chatting away,” an attendee told E! News. “Adele made time for everyone and mingled with the kids.”

The children were invited through The ClementJames Centre, an educational charity that has been helping the survivors of Grenfell, and no one knew that Adele was going to be there.

Dozens of UK music artists also united for a rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” with proceeds from the song helping the victims of the fire.
