Aaron Carter Knew He Was Bisexual When He Was 12

Aaron Carter recently opened up to the world about his sexuality and now he has revealed that he knew he was bisexual as early as age 12.

The 29-year-old singer wrote a letter to his fans over the weekend after he and his girlfriend Madison Parker broke up.

“To be honest, I’ve been thinking about it for many years,” Aaron said about coming out. “I just felt like it was something I needed to do… It was something that I just felt like was important and I needed to say. It was a part of a new chapter of turning 30, on Dec. 7 this year.”

Aaron told The Bert Show that he and Madison broke up after he told her about being bisexual. “I had discussed it with my ex-girlfriend, and she didn’t really understand it, and she didn’t want [to]. And that was it! So we left it mutual and parted ways,” he said (via EW).

While Aaron knew he was bisexual at age 12, he had his first experience with a guy when he was 17.

Aaron says he is currently single.

“And whether I chose to be with a woman or a man is my decision,” he added. “I find men and women attractive, and that’s never gonna change.”
