Melania Trump Tweets About Virginia Before the President Says Anything

The country is still waiting to hear President Trump speak out about the white supremacist march taking place in Virginia and his wife Melania Trump is letting her voice be heard first.

The First Lady of the United States took to Twitter to condemn the hatred in Charlottesville.

“Our country encourages freedom of speech, but let’s communicate w/o hate in our hearts. No good comes from violence. #Charlottesville,” she tweeted.

Donald Trump and his team have remained silent on the issue, despite a state of emergency being declared by the governor of Virginia.
