Leonardo DiCaprio's Leonardo da Vinci Biopic Gets Picked Up By Paramount

Leonardo DiCaprio‘s anticipated Leonardo da Vinci biopic has found a home!

The 42-year-old actor is set to star in the flick, which is based on Walter Isaacson‘s book on Leonardo da Vinci.

The rights to the film were just picked up by Paramount after a tough seven-figure bidding war with Universal, according to Deadline.

Leonardo is set to produce the film under his Appian Way banner alongside president of production Jennifer Davisson.

The role comes as no surprise for Leonardo, whose mother claims to have named him after the artist because when she was pregnant she felt him kick for the first time while viewing a da Vinci piece.
