Jimmy Fallon Addresses Trump's Delayed Charlottesville Comments On 'Tonight Show' - Watch Here!

Jimmy Fallon kicked off Monday night’s (August 14) episode of The Tonight Show with a somber tone and criticism of President Donald Trump and how he’s responded to the violent marches that erupted in Charlottesville, Va., where white nationalists have been clashing with counter-protestors.

“What happened over the weekend in Charlottesville, Virginia, was just disgusting. I was watching the news like everyone else, and you’re seeing Nazi flags and torches and white supremacists, and I was sick to my stomach,” the 42-year-old host emotionally expressed.

Jimmy appeared to be fighting back tears as he talked about his daughters who “don’t know what hate is,” addressing aloud that it’s important for parents, teachers and “leaders who appeal to the best in us” to help children understand.

“The fact that it took the president two days to come out and clearly denounce racists and white supremacists is shameful,” Jimmy added. Watch the full monologue below…
