Jerry Lewis: Legendary Comedian's Cause of Death Revealed

Jerry Lewis‘ cause of death has been revealed.

The legendary comedian and movie star sadly passed away at the age of 91 on Sunday (August 20) at his home in Las Vegas.

His family has already stated that he died at 9:15 a.m. of natural causes, and now TMZ is offering more details.

According to the outlet, Jerry passed away due to heart failure.

The Clark County Nevada Coroner named the exact cause of death as ischemic cardiomyopathy, “an effect of coronary artery disease in which the heart can no longer pump enough blood to the rest of the body to sustain it. It typically occurs when the blood vessels narrow.”

There will reportedly be no autopsy on the body, as he was under doctor’s care.
