K-Pop Rapper Heize Collapses After Performing, Rushed to Hospital

K-Pop rapper Heize collapsed on Monday (December 25) and was rushed to the hospital, where a spokesperson has reportedly confirmed she will undergo surgery.

“It seems that Heize‘s extremely busy schedule may have taken a toll on her health. Based on her diagnosis at the hospital, it has been decided that she will undergo surgery. For now, her progress must be observed, and it appears that she will be unable to move forward with her plans and scheduled activities for the immediate future,” a spokesperson told the UK publication Metro.

Heize, 26, apparently had a sore throat but was due to perform at the annual end of the year Seoul Broadcasting System’s Gayo Daejun music program, set to air the day after Christmas. She apparently collapsed just after performing.
