Debra Messing Calls Out E! on the Network's Golden Globes Red Carpet Show

Debra Messing makes her entrance on the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 49-year-old actress, who is in attendance to support her nominated series Will & Grace, called out E! for not paying women the same as men while on the network’s red carpet special.

Debra opened up about the Time’s Up movement and said, “We want diversity, we want intersectional gender parity, we want equal pay. I was so shocked to hear that E! doesn’t believe in paying their female co-hosts the same as their male co-hosts. I mean, I miss Catt Sadler. We stand with her and that’s something that can change tomorrow. We want people to start having this conversation that women are just as valuable as men.”

Last month, Catt left her job as the co-host of E! News after she found out that her co-host Jason Kennedy was making a lot more money than her.
