Jamie Bell Reveals He Got Married to Kate Mara at Neighbor's Home: We Just 'Walked Across the Street'

Jamie Bell made an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday evening (January 8) and revealed that he got married to his wife Kate Mara across the street from their home – literally!

“We actually got married right across the street from our house,” the 31-year-old actor told host James Corden while sitting on the couch alongside fellow guests Connie Britton and Bradley Whitford. “I literally woke up in my own bed and walked across the street, and we had our ceremony.”

“When we couldn’t find anything we just asked the woman who owns the house across the street, ‘Do you mind if we do it there?’ And she was like, ‘Yes, that’s amazing,’” Jamie explained. “So we walked across the street and then when it was done, we spent the night on that property and we crossed the street and came home.”
