'Scandal's Tony Goldwyn Reveals How Shonda Rhimes Tells Actors They're Being Killed Off The Show

Tony Goldwyn stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday (January 17) and revealed that actors find out about their character getting killed off in a meeting with Scandal show creator Shonda Rhimes.

“We never know anything until we actually sit down and read the scripts out loud together. Scandal table reads are like famous, because it’s like a huge party and we’re all surprised just like the audience,” the 57-year-old actor, who plays Fitzgerald Grant on Scandal, told Jimmy.

“Shonda’s a great boss, so if you’re going to die, you have a private meeting with Shonda before,” Tony added.

Jimmy also tries to get Tony to reveal spoilers from the last season of Scandal in spite of his deep fear of Shonda.
